The Instagram-like layout

Posts that show the photo first, a double-tap like, and one level of replies. Also what the feed records when participants use them.

  1. Choose the layout

The Instagram, Facebook and Reddit tabs above the preview of the Feed Builder set the layout that participants see. Instagram-like is the default.

The same posts can show in all three layouts. The chips below the tabs show the actions that each layout permits.

The same feed as Instagram, then Facebook, then Reddit.
  2. What participants do

Each post shows the account name, then the image. Below the image are the heart, comment, share and save buttons, then the caption.

A double-tap on the image likes the post. The heart also likes the post.

Comments show below the post, with one level of replies. The participant's comments show the participant handle of the feed. The default handle is "you".

The feed records each action with its time. In this clip, it records the like as a double-tap, and the comment with its post (see What the feed records).

A double-tap like on the ferry photo, then a comment.
