Drag a segment into a chamber

Add segments from the library, put them in order, remove a segment, and open the settings of a segment. The settings of a chat include text, audio or video.

  1. Drag it in

    Open the chamber. Then drag a segment from the Segments list in the library onto the timeline. Carrier adds the segment at the end.

    You can also click + Add Segment under the timeline. This adds a Chat segment. You can change its type in its settings.

    Each segment type has its own tutorials. Find them under the tag of the type on the tutorial page.

    An Instruction segment and a Timer segment are added after the chat.

  2. Order and remove

    To move a segment, drag its handle. Participants go through the timeline from top to bottom.

    The bin on a segment removes it after you confirm. A chamber must always have a minimum of one segment.

    The instruction moves above the chat, and the timer is removed.

  3. Its settings

    Click a segment to open its settings on the right. The settings have:

    • The name.
    • The type.
    • The timing (see the next tutorial).
    • Type Configuration: the content that the segment shows.

    The name appears in the row of segments across the top of the participant screen. Thus, write the name for the participants.

    The Communication Channel of a Chat segment sets how participants talk. The options are text, audio, video, or none. Use none when only agents talk.

    Click Deploy to save.

    The instruction is named Welcome. The channel of the chat is Text.
