Add a human participant to the room
Add seats for people to a chamber. Each human slot is one participant. Matching waits for the same number of participants as there are slots.
-
Drag the human in
Open the chamber. Drag Human Participant from Entities in the library into the cast, under Communicators. Communicators are the participants who talk.
Each drop adds one slot. Here, two slots make the chamber a room for pairs.
Click a slot to change these settings:
- The display name.
- The role.
- Required Properties: the conditions that a participant must meet to get that seat (see Match participants on a survey answer).
Two human slots: the chamber is now for pairs. -
Slots are the group size
When participants come to the chamber, they wait on a Finding Partners screen. When the number of participants is equal to the number of human slots, they go in together. If the chamber has one slot, each participant goes in alone without a wait.
If not sufficient participants come before the Matching Timeout of the chamber, the On Matching Timeout setting applies.
The Mediators and Processors lanes are for other roles (see the Roles tags).
