Add a chamberline
Add a second path through the study, give a chamberline a name, copy a chamberline, and delete a chamberline.

Add a line
Add Chamber Line is under the last chamberline on the canvas. It adds a new chamberline with its own chamber. Each participant follows only one chamberline. Thus, use a second chamberline to make a second condition.
The Chamberline Assignment setting of the experiment divides the participants between the chamberlines. The default is random (see Two conditions, counterbalanced).
Chamberline B appears under Chamberline A. -
Name it
Click the name of a chamberline to open its settings. Then type a new name. Use a name that tells how the chamberline is different. The data export shows this name as the chamberline of each participant.
The settings also have a Selection Weight. This weight applies to random and counterbalanced assignment:
- A chamberline with weight 2 gets two times the participants of a chamberline with weight 1.
- A chamberline with weight 0 gets no participants.
Chamberline A becomes Harbour discussion. -
Copy and delete
The copy button on a chamberline makes a duplicate with all of its contents. The name of the duplicate ends with "(Copy)". This is the fastest way to make a second condition that is different in one detail.
The bin deletes a chamberline and all its chambers after you confirm. When the study has only one chamberline, that chamberline has no bin. A study must have a minimum of one chamberline.
Click Deploy to save.
Carrier makes a copy, and then deletes the two extra chamberlines.
